Stretford proves to be an exception, thanks to your friendly neighbourhood bistro in the form of Stretford Canteen. The team have a firm family history of bringing French food to Manchester and it would appear they’re likely to have a fruitful future of doing so too, if those Toulouse sausages and white beans are anything to go by. The people of Stretford must be utterly delighted. You will be too, by the time you’re popping the button on your jeans and stumbling home in your newly found francophile fever.
