Is this the city’s smallest restaurant? Very possibly, and Ely probably isn’t where you’d expect to find some of the city’s best Japanese food, but dive in and enjoy sushi, donburi and ramen. There’s many a ‘maki’- hiso, te, futo and ura- and sashimi for you to complete the full set, but make sure you order the fried chicken, the soft shell crab and the squid in the lightest of batters.
