Congratulations, you’ve just found what many would call ‘a hidden gem’. Jose, Patricia and family have the most authentic Mexican restaurant in the most inauthentic of (next to a run down department store) spaces. Inside you’ll find plastic tablecloths in a rainbow of colours, Mexican music channels on the TV in the corner, and the most heart-warming of welcomes from the most generous of people. Order it all – it’s not expensive – but never ever miss out on the guacamole (hand made to order with a pestle and mortar). Magical.
