You’d imagine that a burger bar from the team behind Harborne Kitchen would be special and you’d be right. Far from a standard burger offering this does the whole smashed patty thing as standard but includes pickled cabbage and shoestring fries; as if thought out by someone who who understands how to layer flavour and consider textures. Other options include a deep fried soft shell crab between the house-made buns, a surf’n’turf option with scallops and pork belly, and the best vegetarian burger the city has ever seen. Cocktails come out of a barrel (of course they do), the beers come from down the road, and they have a pool table if you are brave enough to take on Barney. We are going to spend a lot of time here.
