We simply couldn’t write about all these restaurants without including our favourite place to get a kebab. God you’re lucky to be the recipient of such wisdom and knowledge aren’t you? Choupan is an Afghani restaurant in Cheetham Hill, not a typical kebab-from-a-hatch kind of place but a masterclass-in-how-to-cook-meat kind of place. People will travel from far and wide to eat at Choupan, which doesn’t even have a website. Word of mouth, innit.
