Not a ‘restaurant’, but a bar where you eat well in the Northern Spanish ‘pintxos’ tradition. This is a bustling city centre landmark where the dishes come thick and fast. There’s more atmosphere here than that Joy Division and Russ Abbot mashup you didn’t know you needed. Until now. Take a seat at the long bar as Curado bustles and hums and the drink flows, or grab a table and order enough plates to make it groan. Owners Paul and Shumana have decades of expertise in importing from Spain and it pays off- when you finish you can even fill a basket for home from the deli shelves. We’ll have a vermut rojo. Ice and orange, because we aren’t animals.
