Those who make it this far up Gloucester Road will be heavily rewarded in the shape of the best Thai restaurant in Bristol. Jean’s is one of very few restaurants where the staff don’t have to grit their teeth when they tell you it’s authentic. Take your own booze and make sure that at least one person in your party orders the BBQ meats. Afterwards go to Jean’s mini mart up the road to buy the ingredients to try and recreate what you’ve just eaten at home. You’ll fail, but that’s okay because it’s just an excuse to go back and do it all again.
