It’s time to shed all the pre-conceived ideas you have in your head about plant-based cooking. Land have received extremely positive reviews (by Jay Rayner nonetheless) for smart, flavour-led cooking that just so happens to contain zero animal, you leave wondering how they’ve done and why is it so cheap.

Unsurprisingly, the vegetable heavy menu changes with the best of British produce, but Barney will feel aggrieved if their take on a chip – compressed layers of deep-fried spud dusted in vinegar powder and with black garlic – ever leaves the pre-diner snacks.
