The Mayflower is a Bristol institution. Whether that’s because the food is consistently good for traditional Cantonese cuisine or because it’s open until 3am in the morning, we don’t know. It’s a bit of both. If you don’t know it’s there, the chances are you’d never find it; it’s burrowed away beneath the bearpit. It’s just as respected among the Chinese community as it is everyone else and it’s been around since the early 90s; need we say any more?
