When the owners of Nutmeg announced they were opening a Sri Lankan restaurant, we knew it was going to be good, but we didn’t know it was going to be ‘how many metre long dosas is it possible to consume in one sitting’ good. It turns out one dosa is probably optimum, because some of the curries on the menu are so good it would be a crime to waste all that stomach space on just one dish. By the time you’re finished, the plates will be clean enough to go straight back to the kitchen. It’s not just great food at Nadu either, the entertainment is *chef’s kiss*. Just make sure you get a seat by the window so you can enjoy Turbo Island, the cultural epicentre of Stokes Croft, from the front row. The Coconut Tree could never.
