Perhaps Urmston‘s previous name Ormeston should be reinstated, for things have changed since this little restaurant opened its doors and started serving its modern British tasting menu to the people of south west Manchester. The tasting menu at Orme is perhaps the best value you’ll find anywhere in the North West and is delicate plate after delicate plate of skilful and inventive cooking. They’re aiming to strip back the formality of fine dining and create an intimate space (wit woo) and we reckon they’ve done themselves proud.
