Sajid Javid once said that Stapleton Road was Britain’s most dangerous street. Like most things that come from our politician’s mouths, that is complete and utter nonsense. Stapleton Road is admittedly a little chaotic at times, but represents an incredibly diverse cross section of the population of East Bristol and thus carries an array of fine foods from all over the world. Real Habesha, halfway down Stapleton Road, is the epitome of warm hospitality and truly authentic food – and we don’t say that lightly. Go here if you want to try some real Ethiopian cuisine, share with your friends and laugh in the face of our politicians.
