Seoul Kimchi is the kind of restaurant that reminds us why we’re in the restaurant writing business. It’s also the kind of restaurant that makes us curse the twits who started calling every damn food joint a hidden gem, so much so that we can’t use it. It’s utterly simple and utterly superb, from the granny in the kitchen peeling ginger to the shards of crispy rice you’ll be scraping out the bottom of your bimimbap. The menu is komprised of Korean klassics – if you’re not familiar with them, you’ll very much enjoy becoming acquainted.
