Barney Says
If you were to stumble on The Blaise Inn coincidentally, perhaps following a stomp around Blaise Castle Estate, at first glance you’d think – proper village pub. A few folk that have been coming for donkey’s years catching up with the bar staff, a pub quiz, half a dozen or so boardgames tattered around the edges. The first mouthful would tell a different story. This food acknowledges its heritage in pub menus whilst also sticking its middle finger up at them. It’s not the place to take your nan for scampi and chips, but it is the place to take pretty much anyone else.
